1.1 Sensor Installation
1. IMPORTAN T: Turn off all power at the circuit breakers. If the equipment is below the pool, turn off any valves to prevent pool water from draining.
2. For replacement, loosen the clamp and remove the old Water Temperature Sensor. Go to Step 3b,DO NOT drill another hole in the piping.
3. For a new installation of the Water Temperature Sensor:
a. Drill a 3/8" hole in the pipe between the
filter pump and the filter (See Figs. I & 2).
b. Place the o-ring over the sensor and insert
the sensor into the pipe.
c. Open the pipe clamp and place it around the
pipe and over the sensor. Tighten the pipe
clamp. Be sure the wire is not under the pipe
clamp or pinched.
