2004 AND AFTER: USE VALVE WVS003
• It is not necessary to remove existing threaded sleeve on filter.
1. Remove connections and unthread old multi-port valve from filter body.
2. Attach new multi-port valve and thread onto filter body.


2002 AND 2003: USE VALVE WVS003
• It is necessary to remove existing threaded sleeve on filter and replace
with new sleeve.
1. Remove connections and unthread old multi-port valve from filter body.
2. Using a Phillips screw driver, remove threaded sleeve on filter body.
3. Replace with the new threaded sleeve.
4. Attach new multi-port valve and thread onto filter body.

    About this product

    Description

    7- function Top-Mount - 1 1/2" or 2" - FPT Multi-Port Valve with Split-Nut Lock Union 

    • Freeze Protection: All ports are self-draining to prevent freeze damage.
      WARNING: Pump should not be running while valve is in this position.
    • All ports are closed. Pump can be serviced in this mode.
      WARNING: Pump should not be running while valve is in this position.
    • Reverses water flow of filter and discharges out waste port: Water flows up from tank laterals, stirs debris on sand bed surface, then flushes debris to waste port.
    • Recirculates pool water while by passing filter. Water flows into filter inlet and discharges through filter outlet.
    • Rinses excess sand that is trapped in the filter laterals, septum and diffuser. Water flows through filter inlet and discharges through waste port.
    • Filtration Cycle: Water flows through sand bed and discharges to filter outlet. This is the normal operating position.
    • Bypass to Waste: Vacuum dirty water from pool. Water flows through multi-port valves, bypassing filter to waste port.

    2001 AND OLDER: USE CLAMP-STYLE VALVE WVS002 ONLY
    • Threaded-Style sleeve will not work on 2001 and older sand filters.
