Plast-aid bonds things together in two different ways, Chemically and Mechanically. Plast-aid chemically fuses to many plastics (ABS, acrylic, PVC) and not others (Teflon, PE, PP). Plast-aid mechanically bonds to rough surfaces such as wood, concrete, brick, etc.
How do I prep my fix?
Remove any debris or barrier. Clean and prime with Plast-aid Liquid.
How do I mix Plast-aid?
To use your kit up evenly use 2 parts powder to 1 part liquid. However the exact ratio is not critical. Always mix wet and drippy.
What color is Plast-aid?
Plast-aid’s natural color is off-white, similar to the color of skim milk.
What can I use to reinforce Plast-aid?
Fiberglass tape, nails, or wire can be used to reinforce weak areas or pieces that are missing. In order for the reinforcement to be effective, completely saturate and embed it with Plast-aid.
