DIRECTIONS: The ideal range for chlorine or bromine is 1-3 parts per million (ppm).
DOSAGE FOR POOLS: 1 oz. of this product will neutralize 1 ppm of chlorine or bromine in 10,000 gallons of water. 10 oz. of this product will neutralize 10 ppm of chlorine or bromine in 10,000 gallons of water. (1 oz. is equivalent to 4 tsp.)
Determine the amount of this product needed. Add only half of this required amount in front of a return line with the pump running. Wait 1 to 2 hours and retest the chlorine or bromine level. Then introduce more of this product as needed to return to the desired chlorine or bromine level.
DOSAGE FOR SPAS: For spas or hot tubs, add 1/2 teaspoon of this product with the circulation
system operating. Wait 1 hour before rechecking the chlorine or bromine residual. If still too high, repeat the dosage until the residual is in the desired range.
IMPORTANT: Always apply chemicals separately. Never combine them. Always use clean, dry tools for application. Add this product to your pool prior to closing. During the winter season check pool periodically for visible signs of algae and reapply this product if necessary.
