Overview

This is the metal band clamp that locks the lid to the tank on Waterway Crystal Water pool filters. Replace it if the clamp is bent, rusted, cracked or will not hold the lid tight, which can cause leaks or a dangerous lid separation under pressure. It is the current-style 3-segment clamp, which Waterway uses on both the cartridge and DE Crystal Water models.

Questions

What tool do I need to tighten it?Waterway says to use a 3/4 in. socket on a torque wrench and tighten the clamp nut to 216 inch-lbs. Do not hand-tighten only, and never tap the clamp with a mallet.
