The Jandy R0744700 Top Rotor Assembly is a direct OEM replacement for the 1.5‑inch multi‑port valve (MPV) used on the Jandy SFTM Series sand filters (including the SFTM22‑1.5).
This component is responsible for routing water through the various valve positions (filter, backwash, rinse, waste, recirculate, closed) by providing the rotating internal mechanism that connects to the valve handle and seals the correct ports.
Replacing the top rotor assembly restores smooth operation, proper port sealing and helps prevent bypass or leakage issues through the valve header.
