Label on the side of the tank near the base. Size is in sq ft, e.g. 420 sq ft = C4030 or CCP420.
Rating plate inside the front access panel. Note the BTU and gas type (NG or LP).
Molded into the body or printed on top. Robotic cleaners: on the power supply.

The Pentair Solar Temperature Sensor (522101) is for pools with solar heating run by EasyTouch, IntelliTouch, SunTouch, or SolarTouch. It sits next to the collectors and reads their temperature so the control can switch solar heat on and off on its own.
- Reading solar collector temperature so the control knows when solar heat is available.
- Replacing a broken, faded, or out-of-range solar sensor.

- Type: 10K ohm thermistor (reads 10K ohms at 77 F)
- Wire: 20 AWG twisted pair, up to 300 ft, no polarity
- Mounting: flat surface next to the solar collectors
- Pentair EasyTouch and IntelliTouch control systems
- Pentair SunTouch and SolarTouch solar controls
- Compool to EasyTouch upgrade systems
- Mount the sensor on a flat surface next to the collectors, with the same sun exposure. Do not drill into the solar piping.
- Run 20 AWG twisted-pair wire back to the control (300 ft max).
- Connect to the solar sensor terminals - either wire goes to either terminal.
- Check the solar temperature reading on the control.
Note: Turn off power to the control before wiring. Wire not included.
