The Pentair Quad D.E. 100 Cartridge Style Filter 188594 combines the superior filtration of diatomaceous earth (D.E.) with the convenience of a cartridge system, delivering exceptionally clear pool water. Featuring four large-capacity cartridges, it offers 100 square feet of filtration area, effectively capturing debris and extending intervals between cleanings. The filter's unique internal flow path ensures optimal filtration and backwashing efficiency, while its chemical-resistant, fiberglass-reinforced polypropylene tank provides exceptional strength and longevity. Easily removable cartridge elements simplify maintenance, and the efficient water flow design reduces energy consumption by allowing the pump to operate at lower speeds. This filter is NSF-certified and supports a maximum flow rate of 150 GPM, making it suitable for various pool sizes.

Cleaning the Quad D.E. filter couldn’t be easier. You have three options: backwash and recharge like a traditional D.E. filter, remove and rinse off the cartridges, or simply remove the lid, leave the cartridges in place, open the drain plug and rinse.
