Filter Compatibility, Included Components & Fitment Checks
These answers help walk-in shoppers confirm the assembly matches their Jandy filter.
How do I confirm the R0465400 fits my filter?
Check your filter label for CV340, CV460, or CV580. Bringing a photo of your filter’s model sticker to the store helps staff verify compatibility instantly.
What comes with this tank bottom assembly?
It includes the lower tank body, bulkheads with O-rings, inlet elbow, drain cap assembly, tank O-ring, retaining ring, and the union set—everything required for a full base replacement.
Does this assembly fit side-inlet/outlet CV filters?
Yes. It is specifically engineered for CV-series filters with opposite-side inlet and outlet ports.
Installation Expectations, Leak Prevention & Component Behavior
These answers help customers understand performance once installed.
Does replacing the bottom assembly stop small leaks?
Yes. Most leaks on older CV filters occur at the tank seam or bulkheads. Replacing the full bottom assembly usually restores leak-free operation.
Do I need to replace the top half too?
Not unless it is cracked. Many Discount Pool Mart customers replace only the bottom to restore structural integrity without buying a full filter.
Will the new bulkheads improve plumbing alignment?
Yes. The included bulkhead assemblies typically tighten and align better than worn originals.
In-Store Pickup, Prep Tips & Part Verification

What should I bring to confirm fitment?
Bring photos of your filter label, plumbing layout, and bottom tank condition to help staff verify the correct model.
Can I inspect the assembly in store?
Yes. You can review the bulkheads, union set, and tank O-ring before purchasing.
Is the assembly ready for installation after pickup?
Yes. Once the old base is removed and the bulkheads are sealed and tightened, the system is ready to reassemble.
