Smoother flow in a space-saving street design. The Hayward EcoFlo EFC3220SW is a genuine white 2 in. street sweep 90-degree elbow. Unlike a socket-by-socket fitting, it has two different ends: one spigot (street) end that slips into a 2 in. socket or union, and one socket (hub) end that a 2 in. pipe glues into. That street design lets it connect directly to your union or fitting without an extra coupling, so it tucks into tight spots on the equipment pad. Its long-radius sweep curve turns the water gently instead of with a hard, abrupt bend, cutting turbulence and head loss so your pump moves water more efficiently. It works with the Hayward EcoFlo union (SPX3200UNKIT) on TriStar, EcoStar, and NorthStar pumps and lines up cleanly to SwimClear filters and Universal H-Series heaters.
- Street-elbow design: One spigot end plus one socket end connects straight to a union or fitting — no extra coupling, and it fits where a hub-by-hub elbow will not.
- Efficient sweep turn: The long-radius 90-degree curve reduces turbulence and head loss compared with a standard sharp elbow, which can save pump energy.
- Perfect alignment: Connects an EcoStar or TriStar pump to a SwimClear filter or Universal H-Series heater cleanly.
- Genuine Hayward part: An exact-fit EcoFlo fitting, not a generic substitute.
- Identify the two ends: the plain spigot (street) end inserts into a socket; the belled socket (hub) end accepts a pipe.
- Slip the spigot end into your 2 in. socket or the Hayward union connector; glue your 2 in. pipe into the socket end.
- Solvent-weld both joints with PVC primer and cement, keeping the elbow oriented so your plumbing routes cleanly.
- If mating to the EcoFlo union, hand-tighten the union nut over its gasket — snug only, do not over-tighten.
- Prime the system, run the pump, and check the connections for leaks.
- The two ends are different: one spigot (street) end and one socket (hub) end — check which end mates to your union versus your pipe before gluing.
- If you are connecting to the Hayward EcoFlo union, the union nut, connector, and gasket come in the SPX3200UNKIT kit, sold separately.

What is this part?
A genuine Hayward EcoFlo 2 in. street sweep 90-degree elbow that connects Hayward union equipment to your pool plumbing.
Why are the two ends different?
It is a street elbow: one spigot (street) end slips into a socket, and the other is a socket (hub) that a pipe glues into. That lets it connect directly to a union or fitting without an extra coupling.
What does sweep mean?
It is a long-radius elbow — the gentle curve reduces turbulence and head loss compared with a standard sharp 90-degree fitting.
How is it different from the EFC3225SW?
The EFC3225SW is a larger 2.5 in. socket-by-socket sweep union elbow. This EFC3220SW is a 2 in. street elbow with one spigot end and one socket end.
Does it include the union?
No — the union nut, connector, and gasket come in the SPX3200UNKIT kit, sold separately.
