Directions
- Shake thoroughly before using.
Cleans Sand Filters
- Turn off inlets and outlets for all chemical feeders.
- Close the main drain and place the filter in backwash position.
- Slowly pour 8 ounces of ClearView Filter Aid through the skimmer while backwashing.
- Run the filter pump until the water runs clear.
- Repeat treatment until the entire bottle is used.
- Resume normal operation and turn on inlets/outlets for chemical feeders.
Cleans Cartridge Filters
- Remove the cartridge from the filter.
- Spray ClearView Filter Aid from top to bottom on the filter.
- Allow to stand for 5 minutes or until foaming action stops.
- For deep cleaning:
- Place cartridges in a large plastic bag.
- Tie the bag closed.
- Set in a warm area for 30 minutes.
- Rinse and replace the cartridge in the filter.
- Resume normal operation.
Cleans Diatomaceous Earth Filters
- Remove filter grids from the filter.
- Spray ClearView Filter Aid onto the grid surface.
- Allow to stand for 5 minutes or until foaming action stops.
- For deep cleaning:
- Place grids in a large plastic bag.
- Tie the bag closed.
- Set in a warm area for 30 minutes.
- Rinse and replace grids in the filter.
- Resume normal operation.
