The AquaStar PF2001 is a genuine OEM lid assembly replacement for AquaStar's PLF27000 and PLF35000 Pipeline cartridge filter series. As the primary access point for cartridge maintenance, the lid assembly must seal properly under operating pressure to prevent air infiltration and water bypass — a cracked, warped, or damaged lid is one of the most common causes of filter pressure loss and reduced filtration performance. The PF2001 features AquaStar's patented safe-release collar design that allows the lid to be removed and replaced quickly and safely without specialized tools, keeping routine cartridge cleaning fast and straightforward. Manufactured in the USA by AquaStar Pool Products and engineered to match OEM specifications exactly. Note that the lid O-ring (O-RING453) is sold separately and should be replaced simultaneously for a complete, leak-free seal restoration.
- Compatible with PLF27000 & PLF35000 Pipeline Filters: A direct OEM lid replacement that fits both AquaStar Pipeline filter models — the PLF27000 (200 sq ft, 27,000 gallon) and PLF35000 (250 sq ft, 35,000 gallon) — covering the full range of AquaStar's Pipeline series installations.
- Patented Safe-Release Collar Design: AquaStar's proprietary safe-release collar mechanism allows the lid to be removed and reinstalled quickly and safely without special tools, simplifying routine cartridge access during maintenance and cleaning cycles.
- Restores Proper Filter Pressure & Seal Integrity: A damaged or warped filter lid is one of the most common causes of pressure loss, air leaks, and reduced filtration efficiency in the Pipeline series — replacing the lid assembly with the correct OEM part restores full operating performance.
- Genuine AquaStar OEM Part — Made in USA: Manufactured in the United States by AquaStar Pool Products to exact factory specifications, ensuring the same fit, durability, and performance as the original lid assembly installed on the filter at the time of manufacture.
- Replace O-Ring Simultaneously for Best Results: For a complete seal restoration, AquaStar recommends replacing the lid O-ring (O-RING453) at the same time as the lid assembly — ensuring a fully watertight, pressure-resistant fit and eliminating the most common sources of lid-related leaks.
