The Skimlite 9012 is a 2-piece, 6-to-12-foot commercial-grade telescopic pool pole from Skimlite's flagship 9000 Dually Series, built for pool service professionals who refuse to compromise on locking strength and durability. The Dually was purpose-built as a hybrid of Skimlite's two most trusted locking technologies, combining a Nylon Outside Thread Lock and a patented Internal Cam Lock into a single pole that can be used with one or both locks engaged simultaneously. When maximum holding power is needed for heavy brushing or vacuuming, engaging both locks delivers an iron-tight grip, and for lighter, faster-paced cleaning jobs a single lock keeps the workflow quick without sacrificing reliability. Constructed from the thickest aircraft-quality drawn aluminum available in the commercial pool service industry, the 9012 features a 1-1/8-inch outside diameter, oversized drain holes for a lighter feel during use, and fully user-replaceable female, ferrule, and cam fittings. The 9012 is made in the USA by Skimlite Manufacturing, in business since 1954.
- Dual Lock System with Thread and Cam: The 9000 Dually Series combines Skimlite's Nylon Outside Thread Lock — an industry standard since 1959 — with a patented Internal Cam Lock in a single pole, giving service professionals the flexibility to engage one lock for quick jobs or both locks together for heavy brushing and vacuuming demands.
- Aircraft-Quality Drawn Aluminum Body: The 9012 is fabricated from the thickest aircraft-quality drawn aluminum tubing Skimlite offers in its commercial lineup, providing exceptional rigidity and strength across the full 6 to 12 foot extension range while withstanding the daily abuse of professional pool service without bending, flexing, or fatiguing under repeated heavy use.
- 1-1/8-Inch Diameter with Oversized Drain Holes: A 1-1/8-inch outside diameter provides a sturdy, confident grip for service techs, and strategically placed oversized drain holes reduce the amount of water held inside the pole during use, keeping the 9012 lighter in hand and less fatiguing across extended service sessions and full route days.
- User-Replaceable Internal Fittings: Female, ferrule, and internal cam fittings on the 9012 are each independently replaceable when worn, allowing the pole to be fully maintained and restored to factory performance over time without forcing the technician to purchase a new pole, which is a core design principle behind every Skimlite product.
- Made in the USA by Skimlite Since 1954: Manufactured in the United States by Skimlite Manufacturing, a third-generation American company that has been producing the professional pool service industry's most trusted poles, rakes, and skimmers for more than 70 years, supplying parts and durability that techs rely on every day.
