CA P65 Warning: Cancer and reproductive harm. www.p65warnings.ca.gov

The Pool Tool 104C-2 Inline Zinc Anode is a corrosion-prevention device engineered to protect pool equipment and metal components from electrolysis damage. Installed directly into the plumbing line using its integrated 2" slip fitting, the anode sacrifices itself to corrosive electrical currents—helping prevent heater cores, heat exchangers, lights, rails, and salt-system components from deteriorating prematurely. The replaceable zinc core allows easy servicing without cutting plumbing, while the durable housing ensures long-term performance in both chlorine and saltwater pools. This inline design provides one of the most effective ways to minimize galvanic corrosion throughout the entire circulation system.

Highlights

  • Inline 2" Slip Installation: Fits directly into standard 2" plumbing lines to provide whole-system corrosion protection without complex modifications.

  • Prevents Electrolysis Damage: Sacrificial zinc core absorbs stray electrical currents, helping protect heaters, rails, lights, and metal components from corrosion.

  • Replaceable Zinc Insert: Core can be swapped out as it wears down, extending the lifespan of the main housing and simplifying maintenance.

  • Ideal for Salt Systems: Particularly effective for pools with salt chlorine generators, where galvanic activity is naturally higher.

  • Durable Construction: Built with corrosion-resistant materials that withstand harsh pool environments and continuous water flow.

Specifications

  • Needs to be replaced: Every 3-4 years or when 0.5 original size
